5 Tips to Reset Your Body After a Weekend of Fun

Nobody is perfect.

And life is too short to not have fun!

A few late nights, extra drinks and food that you wouldn't normally eat is not the end of the world. What matters is how you jump back on the "feel good" train once the fun is over.

Here are 5 tips to get you back in the game after a night or two of  fun!

Tip #1: MOVE your body.

Get out and sweat!

Movement can look however you would like. Go to the gym. Take a hike. Attend a yoga class. Walk around the neighborhood. Just MOVE! Give your system the release it needs. Moving your body increases blood flow and aides in detoxification.

You will instantly feel better!

Tip #2 FAST.

Give your digestive system a break.

Pick a 14 hour window of time that you will not eat. (Preferably 8pm - 10am the night AFTER a day of fun). This gives  your digestive system a chance to calm down and recover. When you do decide to eat, make sure that you eat WHOLE foods that nourish and fuel your body.

Tip #3 HYDRATE.

From the moment you roll out of bed, drink water, A LOT of water.

The old saying "eat something greasy to soak up the night before" is a myth!
